Dr Mooney is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in joint replacement and arthroscopic joint preservation surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. He enjoys helping patients improve their quality of life through treatments of bone and joint disease and injury. His primary goal is to provide pain relief and improve joint function for his patients.
Completing his medical education at the University of Adelaide and advanced Orthopaedic Surgical training he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2016.
Through post-fellowship training in Adelaide, Perth and Canada, Luke has gained local and international experience in hip, knee and shoulder surgery including robotic assisted joint replacement, minimally invasive and arthroscopic joint preservation surgery.
